The Minervois is a  complex and layered region in Southern France, and is historically characterized by dramatic, and sometimes violent shifts in its cultural landscape. The aim of this photographic project is to capture the seemingly “suspended state” of change, and finding the “natural” and the “normal” within the changes and differences brought about by recent globalizing forces, including shifts in the global wine industry, and the “Europeanization” of this agri-rural region in the South of France.
